HAVANA JAZZ FESTIVAL
A Once-In-a-Lifetime Trip for Your Listeners
(and a fundraising boost for your station)
As any jazz aficionado knows, there are few music events on earth that can match the Havana Jazz Festival. This acclaimed annual celebration of music, which celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2020, sees Cuba’s most popular jazz musicians perform for adoring audiences from all around the world.
In 2020, we are giving your listeners the chance to experience the festival firsthand on a bucket-list cultural experience; all while giving your station the chance to raise funds and boost listener loyalty.
What your listeners can expect
Your station’s listeners will enjoy an incredible cultural itinerary that will, with your help, be tailored exclusively to them. All our Havana Jazz Festival itineraries include thrilling cultural activities every day, which are complemented by incredible jazz festival performances every evening. Travelers get to meet famous musicians, experience private dance and music performances and enjoy VIP festival passes for the whole of their stay. There will also be a welcome-night gala dinner, while city tours, rumba workshops, day trips and more can be included in the itinerary too. What’s more, they will do it all in the company of one of your radio station’s most popular DJs.
We make Cuba travel easy and legal by taking care of everything, so your listeners can enjoy a stress-free trip. We will design a full-time itinerary of activities that ensure meaningful interaction and support for the Cuban civil society to comply with current travel regulations.
How this benefits your station
First and foremost, we will cover the cost of sending one of your DJs on the trip. This not only allows one of your staff to enjoy a fun, all-expenses-paid trip, it gives your listeners a rare opportunity to connect with your brand on a more personal level, helping boost listener loyalty in the long term.
Secondly, these tours are a great fundraising opportunity. Once we determine the ideal itinerary for your listeners, we will then provide a net price per traveler. You can subsequently add a markup per traveler before you promote it to your audience. As we can take several groups of 20 to 25 people (with each group having their own tour guide and bus) there is the potential for significant income.
In addition to this, we could also discuss Cuba VIP Travel purchasing advertising with your station.
Why choose Cuba VIP Travel?
Quite simply, because we’re the Cuba experts. We have been organizing high-quality cultural trips to Cuba since 1999, so we have the long-standing logistical expertise and the on-the-ground personal relationships to offer travelers the best hotels, paladars, cultural experiences, transportation, visas and more. Previous jazz-related excursions have included taking the Preservation Hall Jazz Band – plus 150 of their fans – to open the Havana Jazz Festival in 2015, and arranging for musicians from the Bohemian Club in San Francisco to perform in the city, accompanied by over 90 club members.

Travel management in Cuba
Our two week trip was a great experience. The staff was impeccable with every aspect of the journey, from arrival in Miami for the charter flight to the amazing restaurants, walking tours and music excursions. To coordinate over 150 travelers for a premium tour would have been impossible without their wealth of knowledge and attention to detail. For myself, the band, and many of our guests, the trip was one of the best experiences of our lives!
